Is Imputed Righteousness The Right Way?

Filed under: Charity — publisher @ 12:32 am

There is no doubt that Christianity is evangelical by nature.  And in spreading the good news, the work that Jesus left for his disciples to do here on earth was to find lost souls and bring them to the foot of the cross in order to be saved.

But salvation is a complex concept apart from the other teachings of the Bible.  Some people twist the Scripture for their own benefits as depicted in the case where the gospel of greed is preached.

While this implies that you should be materially blessed, the question raised here is if it is alright for you to be focus on material blessings as opposed to seeking God and His spiritual blessings instead.

At another level altogether, the concept of imputed righteousness has also been under scrutiny since this implies that once you are saved, you will remain saved until you die and that you will go to heaven regardless of the number sins you commit after being saved.

Perhaps these are some questions that you might have as a person seeking for the truth about salvation.  You might also want to understand the basics of Christianity.  But regardless of your spiritual health, one of the places where you can find spiritual food is over the Internet – at the sites that not only provide answers to your questions but also help you to distinguish between what is true and what is false.
