Get a Custom Mattress

Filed under: Goods and Services — admin @ 2:34 pm

A mattress is one of the most important investments in life, due to the time we spend on it and the importance of getting restful, refreshing sleep. Unfortunately, mattresses can be pricey products, with some top-line beds running into the thousands of dollars. Other people simply have difficulty finding a mattress that’s right for them, no matter the price range. Luckily, there are ways to customize any mattress to your personal comfort and support needs.

The easiest and most popular method for changing the feel of your mattress is adding a mattress topper. Typically made of foam materials or something similar, these are two to four inch sections of material that are placed upon the top of a mattress. The beauty of standard or memory foam topper pads is that by the time you decide to add one to an uncomfortable mattress, you know which way you need to add comfort, whether you have a mattress too soft for your liking or too firm. These can go on top of any type of bed, from innerspring and air, to foam or waterbeds. They’re also great for extending the life of a mattress that is still structurally sound enough to function as a base but not as comfortable as it used to be.

For people with a foam pad bed, customization is a start-to-finish process. Because of the different types and firmnesses available in foam, it’s easy to order a variety that suits your needs. Additionally, many companies now offer mattresses constructed of multiple sheets of different materials for hybrid comfort that is neither all one feel nor another. If you order one of these without layers being adhered to each other, you can adjust which layers go where in the mattress and alter the feel of your bed. Whether you’re looking into getting a new mattress that meets your needs or modifying one that isn’t up to par, you have plenty of options to get the rest you deserve.
